At Hillside Home Services, we believe that professionalism starts with clarity. This page explains our pricing structure, service policies, and guarantees, ensuring there are no surprises from quote to completion.
1. Our Quote Process & Pricing
How Do You Determine the Cost of My Project?
We provide upfront, accurate quotes using a photo-based estimate model.

-
1. Photo Submission: The fastest way to get a quote is to text photos of your project and a brief task list to (818) 722-2303.
-
2. Quote Delivery: The owner, Kevin, personally reviews every request. We guarantee your detailed quote will be sent by the end of the next business day. However, if the scope is complex or photos are insufficient, we will contact you to schedule an on-site visit to finalize the estimate.
-
3. On-Site Finalization: The final, fixed price is confirmed and signed on the Scope Confirmation Form upon arrival.

What is the Minimum Charge?

We use a structure that ensures our premium service is compensated fairly:
-
Small Tasks (Punch Lists): We charge a flat trip fee plus a minimum labor block (typically the first hour), then bill in 15-minute increments.
-
Complex/Unclear Jobs: If the scope cannot be determined accurately from photos, we will contact you to schedule an on-site visit to finalize the estimate.

How Do Materials and Deposits Work?

-
Materials can be client-supplied or procured by HHS, subject to a materials and handling fee.
-
A deposit may be required for special-order items or for labor exceeding $500.
2. Our Guarantees & Policies
Do You Offer a Warranty on Your Work?
Yes. We offer a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty on all labor performed. We stand behind our quality.
-
This warranty covers failure directly related to the quality of the labor provided.
-
Exclusions: It does not cover material failure (covered by the manufacturer) or damage resulting from client misuse, normal wear and tear, or hidden conditions.
What is Your Payment Policy?
Payment for the entire agreed-upon total amount is DUE IN FULL IMMEDIATELY upon job completion. We accept credit cards (via Square), Zelle, Venmo Business, cash, or check.
What is Your Cancellation Policy?
We require clients to notify us of any cancellation or reschedule request more than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time.
-
Cancellations between 3 and 24 hours prior may incur a charge equivalent to one hour of labor.

No-shows or cancellations with less than 3 hours notice may incur a charge equivalent to two hours of labor.
